The African Livestock Exhibition and Congress (ALEC) is a premier livestock technology and solutions international trade fair organized with an aim to promote the sector development through trade facilitation, introduction of new technology and transfer of knowledge besides investment promotion in the sector. The commencement of the event is assisting the overall livestock sector development and expansion of livestock products market in the region.

The inception of ALEC has an overall objective of bridging the various gaps in the livestock value chain by attracting the various first class exhibitors, which will make ALEC an ideal platform to facilitate trade, attract investment, transfer technology and knowledge besides professional development and awareness creation as it attract various stakeholders in one place a time to communicate, transact and share what they offer.
